<p>If you delete an account on Twitter, we allow you to restore it for up to six months after the deletion. <p>If you can't restore your old account and you need your email address or username, sign up for a new account with different information in the meantime. Send us an email and let us know what's going on, and include your temporary username/email, and your old username/email.</p>
<p>In your request, please state that you would like us to permanently delete your old account. If you are doing this to free an email address or username, please let us know. If you are trying to get your old username, please try to restore your old account and change the username on it in order to free it for your current account; this will be faster than waiting for a response.</p>
